Week 2
Another half an inch gone. I'm very pleased once again. Even though I'm been very bad. I'm cheating constantly. My girlfriend is sabotaging my plan, baking all the time. On top of that, the price of chicken has gone through the roof. So now I'm going to pork, because it's half the price of chicken. I've made a promise that this week I'm going to get serious. It was much easier doing this last February, mostly because there weren’t so many holiday temptations.

Week 3 - Three Inches!
So far I'm down three inches from where I started. And also just under 10 pounds, which could make the difference between two equally matched cars and two nearly equal drivers. It won't make up the difference if the other guy gets a hole-shot on you, but it sure could shave a few more thousands off your ET. For instance, a 2980 lb mass with 500 hp could run a 1/4 mile in 10.561 @ 129.06 that drops to 10.549 @ 129.20 when 10 lbs lighter.
I am doing horribly at following this. It seems like I'm cheating all the time. It's not because I need to. I'm not hungry all the time, but when you walk in the house and it smells like fresh baked cookies, it's hard not to take one, which turns into three. So my advice from this past week is ask for a little help from your significant other.

187.6 Week 4 - Six percentage points, 10 lbs and four inches!
I am absolutely ecstatic. I'm actually leaner now than I was at the end of the rehabilitation in February. I'm under 20% body fat, just barely at 19.95% but it's under 20. I've stripped just shy of four inches off my waist, from 39.75 inches to 35.875. I have lost 10 lbs, but weight didn't matter to me. In the mean time, I've gained almost two pounds of muscle in a month!
Two pounds in a year is good. Ask any gym rat. Two pounds in a month is amazing!
I feel a lot better than a month ago. My arms are starting to look a little vascular, where you can see the veins raise above the smoothness of the skin. My biceps are tight in my polo shirts that I normally wear to work and my forearms almost fill my dress shirt sleeves. I'll have to grow a lot more to fill the upper arms in my dress shirts. I measured them at 20" which is beyond my capabilities right now. But maybe that is in my future.
I'm still keeping on this and I'm now stepping up a level, I'll be running at least twice a week, three miles each time. Other than that, I'll keep on this nutritional rehabilitation, and I should have even better success because they'll be a lot less temptation now that it's after Christmas. I'm happy with my results, but I want to go farther. Not bad considering I did this between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the time when most people gain an extra pound. I gained two pounds while losing 12 lbs of fat, at a healthy three pounds per week.
